Facilities overview
MRI scanner
From late 2026, CUBIC will be home to a Siemens 3T Cima.X system, a next-generation, ultra-high performance MRI scanner.
The Cima. X system is powered by Siemens’ Gemini gradient technology, providing exceptional performance and deeper insights into the structure, function, and connectivity of the human brain.
The system includes:
- Deep Resolve: Fast, AI-powered image reconstruction.
- Open Recon: An open digital interface that facilitates co-creation and knowledge exchange between researchers and institutions.
These capabilities make the Cima.X well-suited for a broad spectrum of research, including advanced functional and diffusion MRI studies.
Further details can be found on Siemens’ website here.
